Strange comment from Trump regarding grass has caused many to think that he has ‘completely lost his mind’

Many people are perplexed by US President Donald Trump’s strange address, and some question whether he is serious.

Trump is frequently in the news (for good or bad), and the majority of that attention stems from what he says.

For example, he recently made headlines for using his social media site, Truth Social, to criticize a news station’s portrayal of him.

He was upset with MSNBC when it announced it would change its name to MS NOW as part of a corporate split from NBC, as well as Newsom for mimicking the way he rants online.

But now, what’s really getting folks thinking is Trump’s remarks on grass.

You read that accurately.

Trump is talking about grass, and social media users are completely baffled as to what this means.

The scene was recorded on tape when the president stood in front of reporters and claimed to be the most informed about grass when discussing the redesign of DC parks.

He explained, “One of the things we’re going to be redoing is your parks.”

He continued: “I have a lot of golf courses all over the world. I believe I know more about grass than any other human being on the planet.

Trump went on to say that ‘grass has a life’ and that DC grass perished ’40 years ago.’

X users are currently discussing if ‘Trump’s absolutely lost his head.’

A specific individual responded, “I would say yes, he has lost his mind, but that would imply that he had a mind to begin with.”

Another stated, “He never had a sane mind!”

However, some saw this as an opportunity to criticize his leadership, with one commenter writing, “Trump’s out here discussing the life cycle of grass when Americans are concerned about jobs, health care, and democracy itself. He is not a leader but rather a never-ending late-night comedy routine.

One user just assumed the president was knowledgeable, writing, “He owns golf courses.” “The man knows his grass.”

Others were outraged that he was discussing the condition of the grass after ordering the paving of the Rose Garden on the White House grounds.

One individual asked, “Why did he pave over the Rose Garden, grass and all?”

Another individual was furious, stating: “This is coming from the man who paved a slab of concrete over the Rose Garden lawn!”

This year, Trump replaced the grass in the White House Rose Garden with stone as part of a roughly $2 million initiative aimed at improving the structure.

According to NPR, Trump has a specific motive for doing this.

He explained, “We had the press here yesterday. Do you see the woman? They’re going insane. The grass was moist. Their heels are going right through the grass, maybe 4 inches deep.”

Soggy grass isn’t enjoyable, but the president also stated that the adjustment (despite the lack of grass) is visually appealing.

Trump said, “And it’s a lovely white stone. And the stone is the same hue as the White House itself. And because it’s so white, it will reflect the heat. It won’t be as hot as if you had a black stone.

“So, yeah, we’ve gotten great reviews on the Rose Garden.”

Perhaps he didn’t like soggy grass.
