After killing her toddler for being too “fussy” by slamming her head against a wall, the mother gave her 7-year-old son a terrifying warning

A mother from New Mexico was taken into custody after it was claimed that she killed her daughter by striking her head against the wall. According to reports, Vanessa Chavez harmed the toddler because she was “fussy” and offended her. These are the horrifying specifics of the mistreatment the mother subjected her defenseless child to.

When the authorities got to the family’s house in northeast Albuquerque, they discovered the toddler unconscious. On August 2, a man was attempting to revive the toddler by doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when the paramedics arrived at the residence.

After taking control of the situation, the paramedics gave the girl CPR, but they discovered that she was still unresponsive. According to a report from Santa Fe, New Mexico, the toddler was pronounced dead by the authorities at the scene. According to reports, the girl’s 7-year-old brother witnessed the events.

According to reports, the mother of two instructed her son to remain silent about whatever occurred in the home that resulted in the toddler’s demise. He is unable to understand his sister’s fate. Regarding the death of the infant named EM in official documents, the police stated, “If he tells, nothing will happen.”

At first, the 7-year-old told the police that his sister had suddenly fainted and that their “mom didn’t kill her.” The child, who went as AM, eventually admitted to the police that Chavez was “bad to his sister.” The mother of two was “beating up” her daughter, he added.

She hit the wall with a slam. Then she passed away. Detectives on the case revealed, “AM hopes she will come alive.” Following the toddler’s death, the inquiry revealed further startling facts about the case.

According to reports, Chavez had lost custody of the girl shortly after her birth. Authorities discovered drugs in the infant’s body at the time, which was the explanation for the same. A family member who reared the late toddler was then granted custody. After completing the court-mandated reunion plan this year, Chavez and the toddler’s father were granted custody of their daughter.

Later, the toddler’s father disclosed that Chavez was often envious since the child favored him over her mother. In the complaint, officers wrote, “Vanessa had cried because she did not understand why EM was so fussy with her, and it was hurting her feelings.” According to the child’s autopsy, she died as a result of a “large subdural hemorrhage.” Vanessa Chavez has been charged with deliberate child abuse, according to jail records. At the moment, she is being held without bond at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center.
