Bryan Ray, a huge Britney Spears admirer, has spent thousands of dollars on over 100 cosmetic treatments to look like the pop queen. However, he claims he is not finished yet, as he intends to change the color of his eyes despite the risk of going blind. In an interview, he revealed how everything started.
He began changing his appearance while he was a teenager.
The question of whether parents should allow their teenage children to get plastic surgery has sparked passionate conversations online for a long time, and the topic became increasingly prominent after it was revealed that Kylie Jenner had her lips surgically improved at age 17.
Bryan Ray knew from the start that his parents would back him no matter what he decided. His own metamorphosis began at age 17, when his mother spent $25,000 for veneers to replicate Britney Spears’ grin. He then got his first nose job as a 21st birthday present.
In an interview, he spoke openly about his desire to change his appearance, describing his transformation as an ongoing work of art. He also stated that he does not strive for perfection, but is inspired by Britney’s beauty, which he believes has changed with time. As a result, he aims to retain a degree of attractiveness that is consistent with that of his idol, even if it changes with time.
Maintaining the results requires a high level of commitment.
Bryan, now 35, has had several further cosmetic surgeries, including another nose job, cheek fat injections, an eyelid lift, laser hair removal, soft tissue and lip augmentation, and frequent Botox treatments.
To maintain his results, he invests in regular maintenance, such as Botox every six weeks, full-body hair removal every ten weeks, and approximately $500 each month in skincare products. However, his mother no longer pays for him; instead, he does so himself.
He’s aware of his own limitations.
His plastic surgery path has not been without criticism, and Bryan acknowledges that society continues to stigmatize those who seek to resemble superstars through cosmetic treatments. Bryan understands that his lifestyle is not for everyone, but despite the possibility of being labeled as “weird” or “crazy,” he feels that being honest about his experience will help to reduce the stigma connected with plastic surgery makeovers. And he hopes to continue encouraging body positivity in his own unique way, as well as respect for personal decisions.
Furthermore, Bryan never expected to appear exactly like the American singer, as he acknowledges the limitations of his own physical attributes. Instead, he has always wanted to work with plastic surgeons to change specific qualities, inspired by Britney’s appearance.
He has met his idol on multiple occasions.
Bryan has had the unique opportunity to meet the pop sensation in person three times. His favorite experience was their first meeting on Maui, when he was on a family vacation. He recalls being nervous when he unexpectedly encountered Spears at an outdoor flea market. He managed to have a brief conversation with her, during which he praised her for being an influence and even revealed that he had his teeth done to look like her grin, to which Britney answered with a comment he considers a “tremendous compliment of a lifetime.”
Despite her celebrity, Bryan found Britney to be friendly and approachable, creating an indelible effect on him.
