Kayaker Rescues Struggling Turtle After It Swims Straight Toward Him

The ecosystem and marine life are under danger as a result of the escalating crisis of plastic and rubbish drowning our waters.

A man who was kayaking off the Gran Canaria coast in 2015 experienced the effects of ocean pollution firsthand. He couldn’t see what it was, but something big came at his kayak when he was out on the lake.

He recognized the critter as a turtle in dire need of assistance as it approached. The poor animal’s flipper and neck were entangled in a fishing net.

Fortunately, the man acted quickly, releasing the net and releasing the turtle into the ocean.
