Heinz’s family had been holding onto hope. On Monday, July 21, her mother, Amber, spoke at a prayer service held at Viterbo University, urging anyone with information to come forward. “Even the smallest detail could be crucial,” she said, according to local radio station WIZM.

Amber also made an emotional plea to WKBT-DT, saying, “Eliotte, we love you, we miss you, and we’re doing everything we can to bring you home.”
