Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a lively appearance at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, bringing humor and warmth to the stage.
On Monday, Harry, 40, introduced singer Michael Bublé, joking about the artist’s unexpected performance. “Thank God Michael Bublé sang,” Harry quipped. “Can you imagine if he said, ‘I didn’t come here to sing’?”
During the event, Harry playfully called Whistler’s mayor “my ginger friend” and asked the audience, “Are there any other gingers in the house?” He then praised the competitors, thanking them for their dedication despite the cold weather.
With a grin, Harry invited Meghan to join him, teasing the crowd by saying, “Now she’s going to sing!” Markle, visibly surprised, laughed and quickly shut down the idea with a firm “No!” Before leaving the stage, she warmly told the audience, “Thank you, everybody. Have the best time!”
The Invictus Games, celebrating injured service members and veterans, run from Feb. 8 to 16. The couple also attended a welcome reception, where Meghan expressed her excitement to return to Canada, calling it “home.”
She praised Harry’s dedication to the event, joking that their son Archie often questions why “Papa” is always on his phone—only to hear, “Because it’s Invictus.”
