At the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City, Ryan Reynolds shared the name of his youngest child with Blake Lively.
He expressed his gratitude to the audience, saying, “First off, I want to thank my amazing wife, Blake, who’s right here with us. I also want to acknowledge my kids James, Inez, Betty, and Olin, who are present tonight. I truly hope that this moment, and the movie itself, will be the most intense experience you face in your incredible lives.”
“It means the world to me that my whole family is here.”
Reynolds, 47, and Lively, 36, are the proud parents of three daughters: James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4. In February, they celebrated the arrival of their fourth child, just five months after it was announced that the former Gossip Girl star was expecting.
“We’re really thrilled. Honestly, we wouldn’t have gone for a fourth if we didn’t absolutely love it,” Reynolds shared during a February 13, 2023, appearance on CNBC’s Power Lunch.
“Everyone is doing wonderfully. In fact, everyone is doing fantastic. If we hadn’t figured things out by now, we’d definitely be in big trouble.”
Reynolds chose not to reveal the name or gender of their child at that time.
The Deadpool star mentioned that he and his partner prefer to wait until their baby arrives to discover the sex.
“We always wait until (the baby is born) to find out,” he shared with Today. “I’m familiar with girls, so I’m kind of hoping for that, but I’m prepared for anything.”
