Thicker-than-ever eyebrows are still a thing, thanks in large part to the efforts of social media influencers and models.
Sophia Hadjipanteli, a model who has appeared in dozens of major magazines throughout the world while proudly flaunting her natural unibrow, is the only person on Earth who could possibly understand this.
Sophia’s philosophy and cause are based on her conviction that she is most beautiful when she lets her authentic self shine through.
The stunning celebrity has said that she learned a lot about how to love and care for herself from her mother.
The model claims that this is the person who encouraged Sophia’s inventiveness and unconditionally accepted her at every age.
Sophia’s mother was essential in her development of self-acceptance, showing her daughter that she should not feel bad about being unique.
The model has obviously taken these lessons to heart and is now using them to make her work stand out from the crowd.
Sophia’s self-assurance hasn’t made her universally loved, either.
She faced hostility from her peers in high school and cyberbullying for being herself online.
Despite the cruel remarks, she maintained her independence and self-assurance.
The rejection simply made her appreciate her own individuality even more. She frequently discusses her self-acceptance in the media, such as when she said, “It’s especially satisfying to know that that big unibrow is on the cover of Glamour UK, and it looks great.”
Sophia continued, “If I want to be out there and really expressive and be myself, I get to wear whatever I want, and I get to embrace the unibrow — and if I don’t, I can always tone it down. But it’s always my decision — and I think that’s why a lot of people follow me because I’m just myself, and I’m not really influenced by what everybody else is telling me to do.”
Her enthusiasm and activism have helped more people than just herself. Sophia started the Unibrow Movement, a trend on Instagram where individuals may seek up pictures of others that have distinctive features.
The movement, like Sophia’s images, aims to show individuals that they, too, can be successful by embracing their individuality.
The hashtag has helped thousands of people realize they are not alone in their belief that it is important to love oneself and one’s fellow humans despite any perceived differences. Feedback and compliments are encouraged.
Sophia’s writings emphasize the importance of self-love and the recognition that it is not easy to achieve but well worth the effort.
In her own words, “It is a process. Not everyone feels 100% every single day, and that is totally okay. It starts inside, though! You could be the most ’perfect’ person in the world, but if you don’t see it with your own eyes, you’ll never feel that love for yourself. It takes time to build that relationship with yourself, but once you do, everything just feels so much better. You feel free.”
In an Instagram post, Sophia said she no longer wears the lip fillers she previously got. In spite of the embarrassment, she insisted on being completely forthright about her “error.”
“I didn’t need them, but I wanted to try them,” she says.
Like Sophia, we may all benefit from spreading encouragement and acceptance of ourselves.
